Melissa graduated from KLC School of Design in 1993 and has since worked in both the private and commercial sector, working as Head Design Assistant to William Nickerson for six years.

Here she worked on a wide variety of exciting Architectural Interior Design projects, including show apartments for well renowned property developers, offices in the West End, and on all types of residential projects, from London flats to large residences abroad. Working with Structural Engineers and Architects, she worked with William on the design and then project managed and coordinated the large workforces on all and oversaw the completion of each project to the smallest detail.

Melissa formed Melissa Lee Ltd in 2009 as a new concept Interior Design Consultancy and retail showroom, based in West London. Developed as an approachable consultancy service, overthrowing the typical and often costly practice associated with Interior Design, and with the aim of having a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where Clients could find inspiration and design assistance. This included help sourcing not only fabrics and wallpapers, but carpets, rugs, bathroom and kitchen designs, ironmongery, lighting, upholstered furniture, floor finishes, traditional and contemporary furniture.

Melissa is now living and working abroad, and regrettably her commitments there have meant that she has now closed the London office. She is involved in many new exciting projects, and thanks all those that helped to make Melissa Lee Ltd such a success
